For my major project, I have decided that I want to spend the next 5 weeks learning how to make origami. I learned how to make a paper crane when I was in third grade and I remember how much fun I had when learning how to make it. I want to challenge myself to make something complex out of paper by the end of these 5 weeks.
I plan on using various websites, youtube videos, and books to help me learn how to create origami. For my materials, I bought two books and origami paper that I can use throughout this process. This blog will consist of my experience learning how to create origami and I will be posting at least once a week to update my progress.
Below I have attached a google slide that I created that talks about the history of origami, why it is important to its culture, pictures of my materials, and a rough layout of my schedule consisting of what I will be posting weekly.
